This Providence project is the Hayden Home Studio signature at its most at-home: rooms that feel personal, layered, and genuinely lived-in rather than staged. Warm wood tones, custom built-in shelving, and collected pieces — books, art, and objects gathered over time — give the space real character and the sense that it truly belongs to the family who lives there. Nothing feels precious or off-limits; it’s designed to be used every day, in one of South Charlotte’s most established neighborhoods.

A closer look

The heart of the home is a living room anchored by custom built-in shelving set against a warm wood wall, styled with books and collected objects so the eye always has somewhere to land. A relaxed sitting area is built around a comfortable, welcoming sofa and layered with texture and soft natural light. Framed art and warm, tonal finishes carry through the space to keep it calm and cohesive — elevated, but the kind of elevated you can actually put your feet up in.
