A closer look

The living room opens straight to the ocean view, styled to keep the eye on the water. The kitchen pairs modern gray cabinetry with an island built for bar-stool mornings, while a second white, subway-tiled prep space keeps a busy beach house running. Bedrooms wake up to the water, a bright bath is finished with a clean glass shower, and the covered patio — deep blue cushions, room to spread out — is where the evenings actually happen.
